Conditions of Enrolment

Conditions of Enrolment

Our aim is to provide an enjoyable and safe environment for your child.  To ensure that both you and your child’s experience is a positive one, the following conditions are designed to help us keep the gym running in a professional and sound manner.  If you have any questions regarding these conditions, please feel free to speak with our Club Manager.

By enrolling your child you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions including our Declaration/Disclaimer.

We are guided by the Public Health Orders, so appreciate your understanding with respect to measures driven by covid.

Annual registration fees

Gymnastics New South Wales (GYM NSW) Registration/Insurance fees are due once annually (calendar year).

The Annual GYM NSW registration fee is transferable to another club on the condition that your fees are paid in full.

Term Fees

Full payment plus applicable Gymnastics NSW registration/insurance fee is due in advance or on the first session of the term (see the schedule of classes and pricing for specific information).

Fees cover a 9-week term. All enrolled gymnasts must pay for the full term regardless of attendance.

As there is a limit on participants per class, available spots will be given to children whose enrolment has been secured with payment.  Failure to pay may result in losing your spot.

Refunds

By enrolling you are committing to payment of the entire term and are taking a class spot.

There are no refunds on class fee or registration fees under any circumstances.

Credit towards next term after school classes can be given in case of medical reason (at the discretion of Club Manager).

Make up Class

Sydney Gymnastics Factory does not offer make-up classes.

The club may consider providing credit for prolonged absences resulting from extenuating circumstances.

Applications for credit must be submitted in writing and will be considered at the sole discretion of Club Manager.

Public Holidays

Sometimes classes are affected by public holidays.  Classes are not held on public holiday days.  We do not provide a make up class if this happens to fall on a day that your child is enrolled.

Extreme Weather

HEAT: When temperature is 35'C + degrees all sessions on this day will be cancelled. The inside of our hall will get much hotter than this. It is within our duty of care to ensure the health and safety of your child and training at our facility in this weather can cause dehydration and other heat related illnesses. We are not responsible for extreme weather conditions, and as such do not provide a make up class if this happens to fall on a day that your child is enrolled.

RAIN: In extreme rain class may be cancelled if it floods our facility and causes a safety issue. We do not provide a make up class if this happens to fall on a day that your child is enrolled.

Gymnastics Attire

Children should wear comfortable and appropriate clothing.  For instance, leotard, t-shirt, shorts, bike pants, tracksuit, or leggings if needed.  Bare feet.  Please avoid baggy clothes, buttons, zippers snaps, dangling jewelry or socks.

Long hair must be tied back into a ponytail or braids, out of child’s face.

TASK collection

SGF staff can collect your child from after school care at Rainbow Street Public School in order to attend gymnastics.  There is a fee per child per term.  We can also drop off if required after class.  In cases of extreme weather you may be required to pick up your child directly from gymnastics after class.

DROP OFF PICK UP POLICY

We are a drop off and pick-up facility.  We expect children to be dropped off and picked up on time.

Parents/guardians are responsible for their children in the foyer as well as outside the building both before and after their class (including the car park/driveway).

Please ensure you walk with your child to our door to meet the coach and sign in.

Arrivals

Please ensure you arrive and are dressed for class before our starting time.

Warm up is an essential part of gymnastics to prepare the gymnasts’ bodies to participate in the class activities.  If your child has missed warm up, they may not be able to participate in the class activities and asked to be collected.

Departures

Please be on time to collect your child from gymnastics.  We have staggered class times and ask that you are ready waiting at least 5 minutes prior to end of class time to collect your child.

We expect parents/guardians to meet their child at the door and sign out with coach.  Children are not permitted to walk across the field/car park without a parent.

All children must remain inside the gym if they are waiting for their parents.

Once exited, please make your way to the car, and drive safely.  Be mindful that other children could be about.

Please note that we are not equipped with childcare services and supervision of children is not possible when other classes are in session.
